PERFECT GAME NORTH CAROLINA SUPER 25 CHAMPIONS
The SCP 2018s won the Perfect Game North Carolina Super 25 Championship in Week 4. The Junior Cats are off to a hot start beginning the season 15-0 and eyeing the SCP record of 18-0 set by the SCP 2009 team.
ROHAN HANDA (Cannon School) (4-0) pitched a Perfect Game to get the week started; striking out 6 for his team leading fourth victory on the mound. Rohan was named Most Valuable Pitcher of the event.
Leading hitters for the weekend were Justin Guy 9 for 14; Jeremiah Boyd 5 for 12; Stephen Ridge 5 for 8 and Reed Hedberg 4 for 7.
Reed Hedberg closed both the semi final victory and Chamapionship games on the mound for his second and third Saves.
Reed Hedberg; Rohan Handa; Justin Guy; Stephen Ridge; Ray Torres; Jeremiah Boyd; Nick Solomita; Jason Odem; Cameron Prugh; Cameran Brantley; Trey Tujetsch; Jaylon Guy; Maddux Holshouser and Jake Benoit all made the All Tournament Team.
