CHADWICK AND CRUMP - NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!
SCP 2012 TYLER CHADWICK and SCP 2014 JOSH CRUMP their COASTAL CAROLINA teammates and coaches won the 2016 NCAA National Championship. Coastal became the underdog favorites in the 2016 College World Series early on and won 5 in a row must win games to capture the schools first national team championship. Senior TYLER CHADWICK has been a 4 year starter for the Chantacleers and batted over .350 in the CWs including a HR. Sophomore JOSH CRUMP played a key support role in the OF and at the plate for the Champions.

MORITZ AND TREJO - FRESHMAN ALL AMERICANS
SCP 2015 ANDREW MORITZ and CESAR TREJO were each named to the 2016 Louisville Slugger Freshman All American Team. Both attend college and play for the UNC Greensboro Spartans.
Moritz hit a Southern Conference leading .400 for the season and in spite of missing the last 18 games with an injury tied for 11th in the nation in Triples with 7. Andrew was also voted to the Southern Conference All Freshman Team. He set a UNCG record with a 23 game hitting streak and did not commit an error in the field for a 1.000FA.
Trejo hit .363 for the season with 7 doubles; 3 triples and 9 HRs. Cesar was voted to the Southern Conference All Freshman team and the Southern Conference All Tournament Team.
ERIC TYLER - ALL REGION
SCP 2013 ERIC TYLER (East Carolina University) was named to the NCAA Charlottesville All Regional Team where the Pirates won and advanced to the Super Regional versus Texas Tech where they picked up ECU's first ever Super Regional victory. Eric helped lead the Pirates this year starting at 3B and hitting .306 (74-242) with 14 doubles; 5 HRs and 36 RBIs. He also made the Dean's List academically for Coach Godwin's Pirates.
