The Yankee Freight Train Rolls Through RedsVille

Wednesday night, the Yankees were again faced with the daunghting task of taking on the division leader. A week ago the Yankees removed the league leading Giants from the lead with an 8-8 tie, putting the Reds on top of the Major Division. Now it was time to take on the Big Red Machine. The Reds jumped out to an early 3-0 lead but the Yankees countered with a 4 spot in the 4th and never looked back. The Yankees went on to win 14-6. Anthony (The Big Easy) Lozano and Charles (Nails) Godtfredsen pitched superbly striking out 9 batters. " Nails" and "The Big Easy" led the Yankee hitting attack, Godfredsen had a double and Lozano had a homerun and a triple.  Chase (The Mighty) Meniatis,2-3 Parker (The Real Deal) True, Tristan (Brave Heart) George, Andrei (The Big Cat) Buado and Hayden (The Hammer) Mitchell, 2b, had the other Yankee hits. "Joltin" Jacob Rosin" worked the Reds staff for 3 walks and Spencer (The Road Runner) Floyd had one walk. Yankess in the right spot at the right time were: Jake (The Snake) Peralta, Scotty (Happy) Gilmore and Jordan (Panda) Susbilla.  With the win The Yankees move to 8-7-1.

Defensive Gem of the Game: Chase (The Mighty) Meniatis, long throw from 3rd base to get the out at first

Hustle Play of the Game: (Joltin) Jacob Rosin; Scoring 3 runs with good, aggressive base running 

Player of the Game: Anthony (The Big Easy) Lozano; home-run, triple
