The Hammer`s Homer Leads Yanks Rally, but  Bombers fall again with Forth Straight Defeat

The Yankees came into Monday`s game needing a victory to stop a three game skid. The once Mighty Bombers position in the division is dropping faster than a falling star. The Yankees sent ace starter Anthony (The Big Easy) Lozano to the hill, who once again held the opponent at bay. Charles (Nails) Godtfredsen came in next to try and put the game away but could only watch as the Yankee defense collasped behind him. Scotty (Happy) Gilmore and Chase (The Mighty) Meniatis closed out the game, but the damage was already done. The Angels scored 6 runs and led 6-1 after the dismal 3rd inning. The Angels would add another run in the forth and the game seemed out of reach, it looked that the Yankees would certainly suffer another devasting defeat. The ever resilient Yankees picked themselves up off the canvas in the 6th inning and put togther a rally for the ages, in an attempt to salvage the game. The Yankees banged out four hits in the 6th inning rally. Andrei (The Big Cat) Buado and Chase (The Mighty) Meniatis knocked out singles. Tristan (Brave Heart) George smashed a double and Hayden (The Hammer) Mitchell hit a 3 run blast making the game 6-7. The game stayed that way and the Mighty Bombers saw their record fall to 3-5 and fifth place in the division.  Tristan (BraveHeart) George lead the Yankee defense with great catch in right field with the scorching sun in his eyes. (Joltin) Jacob Rosin snared a hard hit grounder with cat like reflexes, and the, " human wall"; Andrei (The Big Cat) Buado saved a run, blocking home plate like only he can do. Parker (The Real Deal) True, Jake (The Snake) Peralta and Spencer (The Roadrunner) Floyd were once again in the right place at the right time to help out a struggeling defense.

Defensive Plays of the Game: Andrei ( The Big Cat) Buado`s block of home plate, and saving a run; Tristan (Brave Heart) George`s battle with the Sun God, catching a fly ball in Right Field

Hustle Play of the Game: Chase (The Mighty) Meniatis`s dive to try and catch a line drive

Player of the Game: Hayden (The Hammer) Mitchell, 3 run Homerun to get the Yankees back in the game

The Yankee Organization would once again like to thank,"The Hammer" for putting in the extra time to improve his game.
