Yankees drop their second game in a row as the Reds bats explode

The Yankees came into Wednesday`s game needing a win to take control of second place and things were looking good early. Yankee ace; Anthony (The Big Easy) Lozano pitched four solid innings, striking out 11 and allowing only one run. With a 4 to 1 lead entering the 5th inning the Reds ambushed Yankee relief experts; Scotty (Happy) Gilmore and Andrei (The Big Cat) Buado for 10 runs over the last two frames. With the Reds putting the ball in play the Bombers had plenty of chances to show off their defensive skills. Chase (The Mighty Meniatis) teamed up with The Big Cat on a spectacular double play. Yankee outfielders; Jake (The Snake) Peralta, Charles (Hawk) Godtfredsen, Parker (The Real Deal) True and Spencer (The Road Runner) Floyd all played flawlessly hitting their cutoffs with picture perfect fundamentals. (Joltin`) Jacob Rosin led the Yankee hitting attack laying down a textbook bunt. The Other Yankees getting hits were: The Big Easy, Happy and The Big Cat. With the loss the Bombers fall to 3-3.

Player of the Game: Parker (The Real Deal) True; flawless defense and putting the bat on the ball when it counted the most.

Defensive Gem: Chase (The Mighty Meniatis) and Andrei (The Big Cat) Buado; Buado snags a hard hit liner up the middle and Meniatis beats the runner back to 3rd for the force.

Hustle Play of the Game: Spenser (The Road Runner) Floyd; Flying deep into the gap to retrieve a ball hit of the wall and holding the runner at first base.

Tranactions: Yankees activate Charles (Hawk) Godfredsen from the disabled list
