American Martyrs field must close now to begin preparations for the installation of artificial turf. This is earlier than had been anticipated by the Martyrs School and is completely beyond MBLL control. Managers should check the revised schedules, as many game changes, particularly in California league, involve changes from fields other than American Martyrs. Also, Managers please note that the "Post May 1" practice schedule will be in effect beginning on April 9th....very important! The leagues whose games are affected by this change during the regular season are California, American, and T-Ball.
