In their 2nd game the Lumber Co. had a tough match-up drawing the Squad, who they 10 runned in 5 innings, with the final being LoCo 18, Squad 8. Lumber Co. then faced Ken's Beverage/Shockers in the winner's bracket championship game. Lumber Company would have to face a very tough Young Guns team to make it to the Championship game and a chance to get another crack at Ken's/Shockers. After trailing early the Lumber Co. bats woke up to defeat Young Guns by 5 runs, final score Lumber 20, Young Guns 15. In the Championship game against Ken's/Shockers the Lumber Co. again took a lead in to the top of the 7th innning, this time by 4 runs, but again Ken's/Shockers rallied some 7th inning offense and scored 6 times to take a 2 run lead into the bottom of the seventh. The LoCo plated only one run in the bottom of the 7th coming up just short to fall by a final score of Ken's 15, Lumber Co. 14.
