Lumber Company went 2-2 at the 2004 USSSA Central "D" State tournament in Bartonville (Peoria), IL good for 7th place. Lumber Company opened the tourney with a heart breaking 11-10 loss to No Comment Softball (Baseball Card City) from Peoria, IL. Lumber Company led the game 10-9 going into the bottom of the 7th, but No Comment was able to plate 2 runs to capture the 11-10 victory. Lumber Company's played Sauder Sports from Roanoke, IL in their second game and came away victorious by a final score of 6-1. In Lumber Company's 3rd game they faced off with Heroes and Legends from Joliet. Lumber Co. won by the 10 run rule in 6 innings by a final score of 14-4. The Loco opened Sunday with a match-up with Big Ox softball from Wyoming, IL. The Lumber Co. did not get the offense going this game and lost by a final score of 11-2.
