The Empire Football League is proud to announce that they will be holding their 32rd Annual Meeting on February 10-11, 2001. This meeting will be at the Quality Inn, Albany, NY. The EFL held their Annual Meeting here in 1997. The Connecticut Chiefs had hoped to invite us to Foxwood for the 2001 EFL Annual Meeting, but the offer for that meeting site had been withdrawn. The Annual Meeting will start on Saturday, February 10th with lunch at 11:30am, the formal annual meeting will start at 12:30pm. The Sunday session will start, followiing breakfast, at 9:30am. All EFL Teams are required to attend. Rooms: The Quality Inn has reserved rooms for the Empire Football League. Rooms will be available for both Friday & Saturday; or just for Saturday night. Teams are to make their room reservations with the League, not the hotel. The deadline for making your reservations is Wednesday, January 24th. You must notify Gary Shaver of your room reservations. You can call 518-828-1107, or fax 518-828-2674, or e-mail James53@mhonline.net The room fee is $75 a night, which includes breakfast the following morning. Everyone is invited to the opening luncheon and this is free to everyone staying at the Quality Inn. For those not staying at the hotel, the luncheon fee is the standard EFL $5 fee. Saturday night is unscheduled time and the Saturday dinner is everyone's personal choice. Sunday morning breakfast is available for those staying at the Quality Inn; for those not staying at the hotel, the league will provide coffee & danish in the meeting room. Remember, make all room reservations with the league and not the hotel, and pay all room fees and meal fees to Mary Boice, EFL Treasurer. Each EFL Team should prepare for this Annual Meeting. At this meeting, you should come prepared to amend the EFL By-Laws, come with your available playing dates. and bring a list of any players who still owe your team any equipment or funds. Please e-mail a short message back to Gary Shaver, that you received this announcement. Good Luck for the 2001 EFL Season.
