5th Annual Advance Coaching Baseball Clinic
Sunday, February 14th (Yes, Valentine's Day)
Time: Registration 9:30am Clinic 10:00am to 1:00pm
Location: Murphy Canyon Junior Field
Fee: $35.00 (A discount will be applied for leagues that pre-register)
We are proud to announce our 5th Annual Advanced Coaching Baseball Clinic featuring Reggie and Tye Waller. Reggie is a former scout for the Padres, Astros, and Mets. Reggie is credited with putting together the 1994 World Series Padres. Reggie was the Assistant General Manager for the Padres. Tye was with the Padre Organization for 18 years. His positions included director of player development, first base coach, and outfield coach. Tye is now the Bench Coach for the Oakland A’s.
This clinic is on the big diamond and is intended for experienced managers and coaches from the Little League diamond, Junior and Senior levels. This clinic will be held at the Murphy Canyon Little League Junior field located at 4500 Damato St. San Diego, California 92124 on Sunday February 14th (Yes Valentine’s Day). registration will begin at 9:30am and the clinic will be held between 10:00am to 1:00pm. The entrance fee for each coach is $35.00; however there is a discount for leagues that pre-register by February 7th. Please email Ned Kern at bigpapakern@yahoo.com for league discounts. Leagues must register a minimum of 6 coaches with a single check being written for the coaches. The pre-registration will need to be committed to by February 7th, but payment will be taken at the clinic for the league registration.
Registrations will be at the clinic location. Please contact your president or coach coordinator to see if the league will be participating in the pre-registration. This is an advanced clinic so the managers should have previous experience, but this will not be required. This is a very good clinic for major managers /coaches, and managers /coaches planning on coaching in tournament play. This clinic is open to umpires from all leagues in District 33. It will be an advanced clinic, for experienced umpires. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
