She is a steady and reliable defensive player. Addie is a contact hitter with some pop in her bat. She is quick and is an excellent base runner. Addie was a leader in most offensive categories in 2004/2005. In 2005/2006 she had an illness in the middle of the season that limited her playing time. She still finished third in stolen bases and fielding percentage, fourth in on-base percentage, and was 5th in slugging percentage.

St. Louis Diamond Cats (Seltzer)
The 18U Diamond Cats (Seltzer) team is a part of the St. Louis Diamond Cats organization. Our organization provides approximately 50 outstanding girls and young women, ranging in age from ten to eighteen, the opportunity to participate at a very high level in a very exciting sport. Our team will field 12 players in the 18U age bracket, and play in approximately 50 games this season. The Diamond Cats are a 100% volunteer organization that annually strives to provide outstanding facilities, equipment, training, and participation in outstanding local and national tournaments. The St. Louis Diamond Cats organization had a very successful 2009. All of the teams qualified for National Tournaments. All in all, our four teams and over fifty student athletes won more than 200 games last season and we are looking forward to an even better year in 2010. Founded in 1998, the Diamond Cats have players from St. Louis, Jefferson, and Franklin Counties in Missouri and St. Clair County in Illinois representing over 20 different schools. The 2010 St. Louis Diamond Cats organization will field four “A” level travel teams at four age groups. We are a self-funded organization, generating all our revenues from player fees, fundraisers, and sponsorships. The team coached by Neil Seltzer started playing together in the fall of 2004 and a core group of girls from that team remains together. Each and every year the girls improved and have worked hard to become one of the teams to beat in the St. Louis area. They finished with a 9th place finish at 16U "A" AFA Nationals and a 2nd place finish at 18U "B" ASA Northern Nationals.
The Cats started their 2007 season immediately after high school ball ended in the fall of 2006. They played in 3 fall tournaments and enjoyed a lot of success. They played in the St. Louis Exposure Tournament and went 2 – 2 playing against 16U and 18U teams. The Cats went 2 – 2 in the Diamond Cats Fall Classic with a 5th place finish and competed well in all of their games. They did NOT lose a game by more than 2 runs in ANY of the tournaments they participated in during the fall.
The spring/summer season was a great success. The team played 100 games and finished 76 – 19 – 5. They outscored all opponents 525 – 216. The team won the 16U championship of the AFA May Madness in Columbia, and earned their berth to the AFA Nationals in Kansas City, MO. They won 1st place in the Chesterfield league and earned one of their National entry fees paid for by finishing 8 – 3 – 3. The Cats ended their season playing in 2 national tournaments.
