Ladywood Blazers

After a first round bye for finishing third in the league, Ladywood defeated Northville in the second round of the playoffs by a score of 9-1. Scoring for Ladywood were juniors Molly Zarb and Mary Beth O'Dea with three goals each, and Jess Blaesser with one. Seniors Katie Karabelski and Sara Sharp picked up the remaining two goals. Getting assists in the victory were O'Dea, Blaesser, Sharp, and senior Meg MacDonell with two, and juniors Jenna Keenan and Joy Troczynski with one. Freshman Lauren Doroghazi also picked up an assist in the game. Danni St. Onge picked up the victory in net. The Blazer's semi-final opponent will be the #1 seed Grosse Pointe South Lady Blue Devils.
