Ladywood Blazers

The Blazers defeated their Catholic League rivals, Regina, 4-2 in a physical game. Leading Ladywood in scoring was senior Katie Karabelski and junior Mary Beth O'Dea with two goals each. Junior Molly Zarb picked up two assists, while Jenna Keenan, Jess Blaesser, Meg MacDonell, and Joy Troczynski added one each. Freshman Molly Sharp earned the victory in goal. The game was marred by five Ladywood penalties in the third period alone. The Blazers were forced to kill penalties for most of the third period, and twice had to play two girls down.
