Ladywood Blazers

The Blazers won their 3rd straight game with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Grosse Pointe North. Junior Jess Blaesser began the scoring for the Blazers with a shorthanded goal in the second period. North tied it up later in the period with a controversial goal. Jenna Keenan scored the game winner early in the third period. Also playing strong games were senior Meg MacDonell with two assists and freshman goalie Molly Sharp with 25 saves. It was a great defensive effort from the Blazers.
