Ladywood Blazers

Ladywood improved its record with a 10-1 victory over host Northville at the Arctic Pond. Leading the way for the Blazers was junior captain Mary Beth O'Dea with five goals and an assist. Junior Jess Blaesser added two goals and an assist, while junior Joy Troczynski helped out with three assists. Scoring her first goal of the year was senior Tess Castine. Also scoring for the Blazers was senior Katie Karabelski and junior Molly Zarb. The game was marked by the inspirational play of Ladywood's freshmen. Jenna MacDonell even picked up an assist in the final period.
