Ladywood Blazers

The Blazers lost their first game of the season to league leader Grosse Pointe South 5-1. Their record now falls to 5-1. Scoring for the Blazers was senior Katie Karabelski with an assist from junior Mary Beth O'Dea. The girls played hard, but trying to overcome three first period penalties took a lot out of them. However, they fought back and were able to score in the third period to prevent the shutout.
