Ladywood Blazers

Ladywood's season came to an end with a 5-1 lose to Grosse Pointe South in the semi-finals. The girls played hard, but couldn't get the puck past South goalie Lauren Stanek until the third period. The Blazers had 24 shots on net but couldn't convert until senior Katie Karabelski (game MVP for Ladywood) scored in the third period. Assisting on the goal were seniors Tess Castine and Meg MacDonell. The Blazers final record for the 2002-2003 season stands at an impressive 16-6. Good job girls!
