North Girls started out the new year with two victories in a row. In their first game North beat Liggett 3-0. Rachel Lentz earned another shut out in the defensive battle. Goals were scored by Nikki Cappizo Angela Giorgio, and Megan Bergeron. Alexa Lucchese, Alexa Quinlan, Katie Latimer, Kailey Sickmiller, Lauren Walsh and Nikki Cappizo contributed to the team's success by assisting in the scoring
It was great to see Katie Latimer back on the ice after her injury sustained in our first game.
The next day the Norsemen beat Bloomfield 8-0. Kailey Sickmiller debuted in net and received her first shut out!! This allowed Rachel Lentz a chance to skate out. The entire team contributed to this victory. The highlight of the night was Jackie Reardon scoring her first career goal!!
Way to go Jackie!!!
Other contributions to the win were Alexa Quinlan, Christie Listwan and Taylor Moody each with 2 goals, Nikki Cappizo also scored a goal.
