The Lady Norsemen came ready to play in the annual Pre-Thanksgiving game versus Regina. From start to finish the GP North Norsemen controlled the majority of the play and dominated on the scoreboard. After one period of play the score was GPN 5, Regina 1. 7 to 1 after two periods, and the final score ended up 11 to 1. The Norsemen's top line accounted for 9 of the 11 goals and accumulated 18 points. Kate Z.(#13) had 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points, Alexa Q.(#3) had 3 goals and 2 assists, and Marissa L.(#10) had 2 goals and 2 assists. The Norsemen also had additional tallies from Phelicia V.(#22) with 1 goal, Katie L.(#24) with 1 goal and 2 assists. It was a all around team effort with offensive and defensive contributions from Rachael L.(#9), Nikki C.(#23), and solid goaltending from Tori B.(#30). The Lady Norsemen have not given up an even stretgh goal so far on the season and also recorded one power play goal on two chances.
All in all a good team effort heading into the Thanksgiving break.
