On a beautiful spring afternoon the young travel dogs of RGMVM loaded up the bus, cars, for the crawl on the beltwalkway and headed to Brooklyn's Gill Hodges field to face off against the Grace All-Stars. The Bulldogs handed the ball to their starter Chris "Big Dog" Piteo, the doggie would escape some early trouble in the first getting the side on strikeouts. The Dog offense would break out early in the first, rallying with a 12 run outburst. Who let the Dogs out.. Doing the damage for the Bulldog offense was: Chris "Big Dog" Piteo (3-3, 7 RBI’s), John "Smiley" Codelia (2-2, 1 RBI), Johnny "the Bomber" Murphy (1-1, 2 RBI’s), Brandon Acosta (2–3), Brett Buser (1-2, 2 RBI), Brian Torres (1-2), Matt Fox (2-2, 2 RBI). The Doggies would hand the ball over to young fire-baller Nick Lante who would battle through the tough Grace line-up in the 3rd and 4th innings striking out 5 along the way, for another Bulldog victory. Go Bulldogs, Woof, and Woof. The win puts the RGMVM Travel squad at 6-0 in the early going….
