Smiles All Around At Recent Award Presentation!!!
On Sunday, March 6th, at Tulare's Round Table Pizza, our second annual team organizational meeting was held to begin the 2005 softball year -- an initial kick-off before our first team activities take off in the Central California ASA Rec. Series and the city's spring men's league. Near the end of our agenda that evening, Lee Garcia was presented with the coveted Heavy Metal Softball "Circle of Honor" MVP plaque and the 1st place trophy from our previous stint last year in Visalia's fall 2004 men's league. Here he is, with team manager, Vern Amaro, in front of our now ever-present team fence banner, receiving his just rewards. MVP! MVP! MVP! -- you deserve it, tough guy!
