Miamisburg Vikings

Steve played four years as Midfielder for Miamisburg and was Captain his senior year. He made Second Team All Mid-Miami League in his junior year and First Team All Mid-Miami League and named Most Valuable Player his senior year. Steve went on to earn a Bachelors degree from Northwestern University in 1990. He currently lives in Auckland, New Zealand.

To the left, Steve is pictured with German national team coach, Jurgen Klinsmann.  Coach Klinsmann is holding the coveted Jules Rimet trophy which is presented to the winner of the World Cup.  In 2006, it went to Italy for a fourth time, while Germany finished a surprising third place.

Steve attended the Argentina vs Germany quarterfinal match at World Cup '06.  Germany won in penalty kicks, 4-2, after the game ended 1-1 in regular time.
