Dan played three years for the Vikings as Forward and earned an Honorable Mention in the Miami Central Conference two years in a row. He also was selected as Third Team All-Area Dayton South in 1980 & 1981 and one of the top scorers in 1981 with 17 goals. While attending Otterbein College he played for the Cardinals as Fullback and was named All-Ohio Athletic Conference. He graduated in 1986 with a degree in History then went on to earn his Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Dayton. He was the Varsity Coach for the Dublin Coffman High School Men's Varsity Soccer team from 1988-1996. Dan is currently the Assistant Principal at Dublin Jerome High School in Dublin Ohio and lives in Westerville, Ohio.
