Mekhi had an amazing career at Bound Brook placing in the New Jersey State tournament all four years and becoming a State Champion his last two seasons. He was the Outstanding Wrestler of the Districts, Regions and State Tournament his senior year and also became Bound Brook's only wrestler to win the prestigious Powerade.

 He is destined for success in college.
