Nova Masters Swimming (Orange County, CA)

RUTGERS UNIVERSITY, NJ Two Nova Masters participated in the 2003 United States Masters Swimming Long Course Nationals at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Both Tord Benner and Frank Wasko competed in the 40-44 age group. Frank was the surprise National Champion in the 50 Back (winning from lane 8), while Tord showed huge time improvements from the Zone meet in his backstroke events and placed 2nd in the 200 Back, 4th in the 100 and 5th in the 50. Frank's 50 & 100 Back were new team records, while Tord set a new standard in the 200 Back.
