Nova Masters Swimming (Orange County, CA)

MISSION VIEJO - The Irvine Novaquatic Masters swimmers won a tight battle with the Mission Viejo Natadores Masters at the 2003 Southwest Zone Long Course Championships held at Mission Viejo Aug 9-11. It took a valiant effort to outscore the home team, Mission Viejo. It came down largely to relay participation that made the difference. The Novas swam a total of 53 relays in the meet and consistently outscored both Mission and UCI in those events. There were a total of 69 individual team records set (32 women & 37 men) and 22 Relay records set in the meet.
