HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2016

Posted by Andy Gilley on Mar 09 2016 at 04:00PM PST

In January of 2016 we were privileged to welcome 4 new members to the Hendersonville High School Baseball Hall of Fame:

Frank Pinson - Frank is a 1972 graduate and was a standout catcher for HHS. He went on to play at Trevecca and has since become a valued supporter of the HHS Baseball Program. Frank was on the first team that Hall of Fame member Charlie Lewis coached at Hendersonville.

Mark McDaniel - Mark is a 1980 graduate of HHS and was named Sumner County Player of the Year.  Mark went on to an outstanding career at Vol State before transferring to UT-Knoxville to finish his playing career. Mark has served as the Public Address Announcer for Commando Baseball since 2007.

Les White - Les is a 1978 graduate of HHS and was known as one of the best players during his era in Middle Tennessee. He was respected by his teammates not only for his playing ability, but further for his attitude and effort on and off the field and as a great teammate. Les passed away in 2014.

Wilson Tucker - Wilson is a 2003 graduate of HHS and will go down in school history as one of the most prolific players to ever wear the Commando uniform. Wilson broke school records both at HHS and at Belmont during his playing careers and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals. He was the single-A Player of the Year for the Burlington Royals and advanced to AA before injuries cut short his professional career.
