The Commandos built a 2-0 lead in the fourth when Williams singled to lead off the inning. Courtsey runner Jon Swindle would eventually come around to score after a sac bunt from Austin Brown and a single from Jarcques Wordlaw.
In the 5th the Wildcats would get their first hit as Franklin helped his own cause with a lead off triple. After a strike out and a ground out a passed ball scored the Wildcat courtesey runner to make the score 2-1.
HHS would bounce back to get a two-run lead back in the bottom of the 5th. Fischer again walked to lead off and stole second. A walk to Ben Smith was followed with a wild pitch to put runners at first and third. An errant pick off attempt at third allowed Fischer to score to make the score 3-1.
Williams would retire the side in order in the 6th before giving way to Matthew Osborne. Osborne induced a game-ending double play in the 7th to pick up his first save of the year.
