Annual Survey of Canadians Playing Baseball in the US

According to Slam Sports there are 571 Canadians playing ball in US Collages during the 2005 season. Check out Slam Sports for a list of the names, home town and details about the programmes. The number of Canadians in the Major Leagues is on the way up and we even have on Barrie alumni working his way through the minors - check out Ryan Spataro. There are presently 5 players, that call Barrie and the surrounding area home, playing in the US College system, they are:
- Jordan Neufeld a Junior at Canisius Collage Note: Jordan also plays with the BayCats
- David Latour a Senior at Central Michigan University Note: David also plays with the BayCats
- Matt Proctor a Sophomore at Graceland University (Iowa)
- Derek McDaid a Junior at University of North Carolina (Charlotte) Note: Derek also plays with the BayCats
- Kenny Price a Sophomore at Barton County Community College (Kansas)
