The lead changed 13 times and the game was tied 6 times. With roughly 28 seconds remaining the tie at 46 was broken and Lake went ahead when Rob Lewis sank two free throws. An intentional foul by Central put Lewis back at the charity stripe where he sank two more free throws to clinch the victory.

Clear Lake will face Frisco in Game 2 of the Tournament.
