Clear Lake 74 - Westlake 70 in overtime (Game # 19)
The Falcons faced a very good Austin Westlake team in the Gold Bracket semifinals Wednesday night and it took overtime and 15 of 18 free throw shooting by Rob Lewis to claim the victory (74-70). Rob, who finished with 29 points, hit multiple clutch free throws at the end of regulation and at the end of the overtime period to secure the victory. This was a very good team victory for the Falcons who have made it to the championship game in all three tournaments in which they have played.
The Falcons will face a formidable challenge when we play A&M Consolidated (also 16-3) in the Championship game Thursday at 5:30 pm. Consolidated's #21 6'6" Senior Alex Caruso is ranked #22 in the state.
