In the second game of the season, victory was not decided until the closing seconds. Missing too many layups and free throws cost the Falcons dearly in the second consecutive game that went to the wire. A Dobie layup with 3 seconds remaining broke the tie and gave Dobie the win.

Ajare Sanni led all scorers with 31 and was selected the Offensive Player of the Game by RCSSports. There were eight games played in the TSU arena sponsored by RCSSports on this day.
