After having only 2 fouls called on Creek in the first half..what's that about?.....Creek led at halftime 32-28. The lead changed 5 times in the first half and once in the second half with Lake leading most of the second half. Good close ball game that was not decided until late in the fourth quarter. Lake had four players in double figures with Blake Gregorcyk leading the way with 17 (5 of 8 from three point land).
12 of Lake's 28 points in the final quarter were from free throws. Lake showed better judgment in shot selection, shot the ball well, and even showed a glimmer of an inside game. Worked hard on defense but defense still needs much work.
Former Clear Lake player Junior Tre Webb (#32) led all scorers with 22 points. Refs did a more balanced job in the second half.
