Game 2 of the Lee College Classic

Clear Lake started out right against a very good Oak Ridge team (9-1) by taking an early lead and widening the gap to as much as 19 points with superlative play in the first half. At the half it was 34-21 in Lake's favor.

In the second half Ridge staged a valiant comeback and closed the gap early in the fourth period.  The game was tied 4 times in the final quarter and the lead changed 3 times. At the 2:08 mark in the fourth quarter Lake never regained the lead.

Weak 3 point shooting and poor free throw shooting again plagued the Falcons and made the difference in the game. Oak Ridge is an excellent free throw shooting team and hit 20 of 26 for the outing. Depth of Lake's bench was not as much of a factor in the game as it should have been.
