2005 SUMMER TEAM CAMP This summer the Clear Lake Varsity will attend a team camp at The University of Texas in Austin. When is the camp? The dates are June 10-12. (Friday noon through Sunday afternoon) Who may attend the camp with the team? Any player who will play Clear Lake Boys Varsity or JV ball next year (2005-06) is eligible to attend the team camp. A minimum of 8 boys is required and a maximum of 10 boys will be accepted. Enrollment is first come, first served. Varsity players will be given priority if more than 10 players enroll. If fewer than 8 players sign up, deposit will be refunded promptly and team will not attend camp. What is included in the overnight camp? 1. Van transportation from Clear Lake High School to Austin and back and transportation while in Austin. 2. Housing in a UT campus dorm for 2 nights 3. Tour of the UT sports weight training and practice facilities 4. Camp T-shirt 5. Camp basketball 6. Meals from Friday noon through Sunday noon. Meals are all-you-can-eat buffet style. Each day consists primarily of competitive games but some informational lectures, UT player appearances, and demonstrations will occur. The staff is comprised of top coaches from across the country and current UT players. Who will accompany the boys? Coaches to accompany the boys will be Leo Sarabia and Don Wilkerson How much does the camp cost and when is the money due? $130 per player camp cost plus $5 transportation fee.(TOTAL OF $135) Full amount due no later than May 10. Cash or check, no credit cards. Make checks out to Don Wilkerson. Registration payment ($135) will only be refunded if fewer than eight players register and team does not attend camp.
