Game 18: Clear Lake 61 - Coppell 47 (Coppell ranked #19)

Game 19: Clear Lake 71 - A&M Consolidated 44 (FYI: This was Coach Penders' 100th win at Lake). This was our first win over A&M Consolidated in three years.

The Clear Lake Falcons boys basketball 2013-2014 success continued in their participation in Westlake Holiday Classic held in Austin Texas. The Falcons lost their first game, 63-68 to the eventual third place Pfugerville Panthers. The loss put the Falcons in the consolation bracket where they swept the next 3 opponents to take the consolation championship. See game results above.
The A&M Consolidated win proved particularly satisfying. The victory was the first in 3 years against A&M consolidated.
Lake placed two players on the All Tournament Team, Will West and Drake Green.
Clear Lake now heads into the district schedule with a 17 and 3 overall record (1-0 District). The next Lake varsity game is 7PM Thursday January 2nd at home against Clear Brook (9-9 overall, 0-1 District).
