Congratulations to the Rebels' senior All-Region catcher Jonathon Guthrie for doing very well at the University of Georgia's catchers and hitters showcase over Christmas break. Guthrie earned the invitation to the select camp with his performance at the Southeastern Diamond Showcase where he caught the eye of the college coaches by throwing a 1.93 to 2B. Fellow Rebel senior Cam Newmans was unable to attend this showcase with Guthrie, but the 2 are scheduled to attend a showcase/workout together in Florida.
