Atkinson County Baseball

The Rebels are very excited about the 2004 season. The ACHS varsity again competes in Region 1A with Clinch County (2003 State Champs), Echols County, Lanier County, Pelham (2003 A playoffs), Seminole County (2003 A playoffs), and Ware Magnet. The non-region schedule includes: Pacelli (2003 A playoffs), McIntosh Academy (2003 A Final 4), Jeff Davis (2003 AA playoffs), Berrien Co. (2003 AA playoffs), Aucilla (2003 FL A playoffs), Sneads (2003 FL A playoffs), Brooks Co., and Munroe (FL). The JV Rebels have a very good schedule with contests against Bacon, Brooks, Clinch, Coffee, Cook, Echols, and Ware Magnet. The Atkinson County middle school Rebels are now members of the Deep South Middle School Conference. Our new conference opponents are: Berrien County, Brooks County, Fitzgerald, Cook County, Irwin County, Tifton, and Valdosta. ATCO will continue to play Ware Magnet and Echols County in non-league action. (Clinch County will not field a middle school team this season. We hope to renew series with the Panthers and Lanier County as soon as possible.)
