We plan to enter the aluminum bat tournament next year. Reason: although I LOATH aluminum bat play, the fact is that this tournament is "the big enchilata" down there, and playing in this one gives you all the free time to have some fun in Florida. The tournament runs Monday-Saturday, with five games between Monday and Friday -- there is ONE doubleheader day and single games the other three days. Then playoffs begin on Friday (two games possible) and conclude with a single game Saturday morning and a championship game at a stadium Saturday night. The wood bat version is shorter and more intense, having a potential EIGHT games in just four days. Aluminum tournament dates: Monday, November 5, 2007 -- Saturday, November 10, 2007
