Washington Township Senators 35+

Well, not our best effort on this Sunday morn. Helped by six Senator miscues, the Moorestown Marlins were able to earn an 11-10 decision in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Nats showed some spunk in staging several comebacks, but they also continued to shoot themselves in the foot with key defensive mistakes. This is simply another June game that we need to put behind us, which I know we can do. Next week, we come HOME (believe it or not) for a game vs The Delco Astros. I already know we will be missing Ken Bevenour, Jim Toth and Bobby Wood. Hopefully the rest of the troops can make it. Bill Alvaro will start Sunday if he can make it, but even if he does, he will be leaving right away. Then John DiPietro has the baseball. The tentative lineup: 1. Alessandrini-CF
