Washington Township Senators 35+

Nice win Sunday, as the Senators took it to the Cinnaminson Reds by a 13-5 score. Frank Izzi picked up where he left off last year, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, and Miles Reader and Chris Lawrence chipped in with two hits and three RBI each. The pitching staff was just terrific, as Gene Michalski, Rich Kulikowski, Billy Alvaro, John DiPietro and Dale Amos allowed just a single earned run and walked ZERO, NADA, ZILCH batters! Next up: we travel to Wesley Bishop in Moorestown to face the pitching rich Moorestown Marlins. John DiPietro gets the starting nod. The tenative lineup: 1. Alessandrini-CF

11. Wood-RF I will do my best to get everyone else in there for sure. Rose will take 2B innings, and Kulikowski will play some OF. And I'll try to get you guys some ABs as well if all goes as planned. John will go as deep as necessary, and I will use the rest of the pitching as needed. I would love to get ALL of you in there to throw a little if at all possible. But that, of course, is situational. As always, lineups and pitching are subject to change due to availability, injuries, and the whims of the manager. Batting practice Thursday night around 6:15 PM at the varsity batting cage, as usual.
