Mid-Florida Certification Classes (via Mid-Florida's Website Calendar)

Posted by Anne Wintsch-Reis on Mar 19 2005 at 04:00PM PST
The Mid-Florida Executive Board requires all teams who participate in Mid-Florida Pop Warner to have trained coaches at all times. This includes football and cheerleading. Coaches training may be obtained by either attending the Southeast Pop Warner Coaches Training Clinic or by attending the local clinic(s) available through Mid-Florida Pop Warner. Once a coach is trained for the first time, he/she must attend an update class every four (4) years sanctioned by Mid-Florida Pop Warner. A coach will be issued an ID badge. He/She must display this ID badge at all Mid-Florida functions. Failure to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by Mid-Florida Pop Warner and/or Pop Warner Little Scholars, may result in coaching privileges and the badge being revoked. In order to Coach for Azalea Park Panthers Pop Warner and therefore Mid-Florida Pop Warner you must attend a 4 hour certification class given by Mid-Florida Pop Warner. In order to attend the Certification classes, please contact Anne via email: awintsch-reis@cfl.rr.com and let her know which class you are going to attend. Mid-Florida needs to know before-hand who is signed up for which class. Be aware the doors will lock once the class is to begin, so do not be late. Attendance is required for the entire 4 hour class. Before the season games start, you will receive a Coaches Badge, which you are required to wear while you on are the field. This means whether you are coaching your team or attending another team's game, you must wear your badge, in a visible location, at all times while on the field sidelines. image
