We're not associated in any manner to the former franchise or the XFL. Here's our story. The Orlando Rage Minor League Football Team was founded when the owners, management, coaches and players from Orlando, Florida's two premier Minor League (Semi-Professional) football teams, the Panthers and the Starz, got tired of knocking each others' heads and decided to pool their resources. The mixture of two, distinct and successful franchises in the Southern States Football League naturally required a new name given the competitive spirit of all parties involved. So, we did what any great American institution would do; we held a vote. Lots of names were thrown about, but one stood head and shoulders above. The Orlando Rage. Thus, The ORLANDO Rage was conceived. The goal of the Orlando Rage is to give everyone a second at their dreams. Our primary goal is to help players make it to the next level (NCAA, NAIA, AFL, AF2, NIFL, NFL, NFL Europe, and CFL). We have pro and college scouts at most home games. Over the years of the existence of the Starz and the Panthers some of our players have been offered try-outs with various college and professional football organizations, many of the players have been voted as "All-Stars" from their various leagues and well over two dozen have participated in representing their country in international competition with Team USA. There's no guarantee of reaching "The Next Level". But the Rage DOES GUARANTEE an entertaining time both on and off of the field. image
