Mr. Dave McClelland the host of Hot Rod TV described this event as, “All things Mopar”. Having the good fortune of an endorsement from such a famous icon of the motorsports world as Mr. McClelland, Mopars at the Strip is revving along like it is on Nitro. We welcome all mopar enthusiasts to Las Vegas to experience moparsatthestrip@hotmail.com “The Wildest Mopar Party in the West”. We would like all car show participants to have there vehicles in place by 10:00 A: M on Friday the 24th of March. (This will help the judging staff, to give the judges adequate time to spend on each and every vehicle). Judging will take place all day on the Friday. Judges will begin with start up procedures, (As part of the judging procedures, all judged vehicles will go through a system checklist to determine if the following systems are functioning properly, the list consists of all lights, turn indicators, horn, fan switch, ease of vehicle starting and idle, wipers, radio etc) Upon completion the judges will come back through the class and judge off of the judging sheets. IF all judging is not completed by the end of the day on Friday. Judging will again take place on Saturday until the class has been completed. Judges will have special colored judging shirts on, so that you will be able to recognize them when they approach your class. Vehicles will be displayed in classes. Maps and layout will be available for contestants upon the pre-register of their vehicle. Class Winners will be posted after 10:00 AM on Sunday morning. Winner may pick up there awards at that time at Car show registration booth. All winners should pick up their awards at the event. Awards will not be sent after the event. Judged classes for stock, modified, restified. There is a PT Cruiser Class Entry fee $50.00 “Platinum Class” 2004 Mopars at the Strip winners are encouraged to participate in a new class designed for previous winners. This class is called “The Platinum Class”. This class will include all of the 2004 winners in to Stock, Modified and Restified/Clone classes. Entry Fee $50.00 Fun Field. This for those individuals who just want to bring their Mopar in to the event. This is a non-judged class. Entry Fee $40.00
