Steele Canyon High School Women's Soccer

After reaching the Quarterfinals of the CIF Playoffs the last two years, the Cougars missed the post season due to a very strong Division 3 bracket. The bracket included 6 League champs and the three D3 teams that the Cougars lost to this year. The seedings: 1. University San Diego High School (League Champ) 2. Westview (League Champ) 3. Our Lady of Peace 4. University City (League Champ) 5. San Dieguito (League Champ) 6. Coronado 7. Serra 8. La Jolla 9. Pt Loma 10. Clairemont (League Champ) 11. Santana 12. Central Valley (League Champ) Basically it came down to our loses against Coronado, Pt. Loma and Santana. That's how close we came to getting in, despite our crazy season. Hopefully we will never forget that 2-0 loss to Pt. Loma on our home field!!
