The Red, White, and Blue were victorious over the North Attleboro Renegades 14-12. Jovan Smith, moving like the wind, returned a punt for 85 yards and TE Big Bad Jim Cournoyer scored the first offensive TD of the year. GREAT HANDS "JIM". Glenn Johnson threw for over 100 yards with big receptions made by Ray-Shawn Link,Bruce Denietolis, and Vernon James. Fullback, Jay Pearson rushed for over 55 yards while kicker Dan Watson, made both extra point attempts leading the Minutemen to victory. The defense came on hard with 2 INTS, one by Dudley Macharie and the other by Jay Silva. Numerous sacks were recorded. 2 by Anthony Neves and 1 by Aubry Souza. Ruben Costa, John Dean, and Dave Bishop combined efforts for the rest. Cornerback, Hippo GOLDSBERG, destroyed the passing game on his side of the ball. Great job HIPPO!!! The Defense has now blocked 5 consectutive PAT attempts led by #58 Eric Riley. The Minutemen are now 1-1 in their division and 1-2 overall.
