This message is to all players of the NEFL posted on the NEFL Website by League President Olivier Bustin. Player Releases Posted by O on 12/11/2002, 11:53 am Players who have fulfilled their contract and want to change teams must obtain a release from their previous teams. To obtain the release the player must have returned all equipment (i.e. pads or team owned uniforms) and paid any balance due (i.e. for uniforms or dues). A player should be given his release (the NEFL release form was enclosed in the packet given to each team at the start of the season) if he has met the above terms. Also player should be given their old contract along with the release as new teams can request both upon signing a new player.
