Pinning the first loss on the Cobalts in the NABF were this year's Cobalt nemesis, the Blue Note Stogies. Danny Bell allowed only 5 hits in 9 innings as the Cobalts fell 6-0. Nick Frisch had 2 of the 5 Cobalt hits but few other highlights to report (other than Jeff "Scrotum" Dietz's return to form in relief).
