Cobalts opened the Regional Tournament exactly how they didn't need to - with an extra inning, pitcher eating, nail-biting, Loss. Chiefs take advantage of late inning miscues and walks to take game 1 of Pool Play.
Then the Cobalts wheel out the crafty veterans.
Paully takes the hill and after a rough first inning, throws a complete game win over Frankfurt Hogs. Tom Taylor leads offensive burst with 2 HRs.
Then Morgan's turn - he goes all 7 in a big win over Xenia Trophy....Cobalts Advance to Final 4!
Squaring off against Portland, IN Rockets on Saturday in the Semi Finals, the Cobalts run dry on arms and go down in defeat...'Balts done with another 3rd place NABF Regional Tournament finish and falling short of trip to Derby City.
Jet Box beats Portland and goes to Louisville eventually winning their second title in 3 years.
