Opening Day was the Bill, Mark and Mike show but Thursday night's victory, 4-2 over the Thunderhawks, was all about the veterans. El Vic-a-tor showed how a Ladies Man (in his late forties) can still dazzle, throwing 2 shutout innings to start off the game. Then it was the good ol' Keith Becker Show for 4 solid flame-throwing innings to get the Win. Followed by crafty lefty Brian Akers closing the door for the Save. Offensive leaders were Todd Taylor, Not-so-old Nick Schmidt, and Brandon Byerlein. See everyone at tonight's game, 6:30 at Roselawn (wear navy jersey), versus the Cubs.
